VS Code Extension

The Cycle Testing VS Code Extension is an alternative editor to the Cycle Desktop IDE. It enables testers to edit Cycle projects in Visual Studio Code (or "VS Code" for short). It targets Cycle users who prefer a more developer-oriented editing environment.

The Cycle Testing VS Code Extension provides standard features for editing Cycle files (such as Feature Files, playlists, group tests, .cycproj project settings, and .cycuser user settings) and running Cycle tests. Visual editors are available for playlists, group tests, project settings, and user settings. In VS Code, project and user settings each have their own editor, unlike the combined settings views in the Cycle Desktop IDE. It also includes advanced features such as Scenario navigation and code snippets that are not available in the Cycle Desktop IDE.
