Cycle Ribbon
The Cycle Ribbon is a toolbar that contains buttons for the most commonly used functions in Cycle. The buttons displayed in the Ribbon change depending on what is open in the Cycle Editor workspace.
Welcome Ribbon
The Welcome Ribbon contains the three options available when Cycle is opened but no Cycle Project has been selected:
- New Project - A new Project contains a structured set of files and directories to help you hit the ground running.
- Open Project - Open a Project to continue working on the files it contains. To access and edit individual files, you must first open the Project that contains them.
- Import Project - Import a Project to turn an existing directory into a Cycle Project. This does not copy or move the underlying files from their current location.
Feature Ribbon
The Feature Ribbon contains buttons to add the following elements into a Feature File:
- Background - Adds a new Background into the Feature.
- After Scenario - Adds a new After Scenario into the Feature.
- Scenario - Adds a new Scenario into the Feature.
- Outline - Adds a new Scenario Outlines into the Feature.
- If/Else - Adds a new If/Else statement block into the Feature.
- While - Adds a new While loop into the Feature.
- Record Terminal - Opens the Terminal connection settings dialog for Terminal Recording.
- Images On/Off - Toggles the Image Preview setting in the Editor workspace.
Playlist Ribbon
- Add File - Opens the file explorer to choose a Feature File to add to Playlist.
- Add Directory - Opens the file explorer to choose a directory of Feature Files to add to Playlist.
- Remove Entry - Removes the highlighted entry from the Playlist.
- Move Up - Moves the highlighted entry up one position in the Playlist order.
- Move Down - Moves the highlighted entry down one position in the Playlist order.
- Move to Top - Moves the highlighted entry to the first position in the Playlist order.
- Move to Bottom - Moves the highlighted entry to the last position in the Playlist order.
Group Test Ribbon
- Add Entry - Adds a new Group to the Group Test.
- Remove Entry - Removes the selected Group from the Group Test.
- Edit Entry - Edits the parameters of the selected Group.
- Move Up - Moves the selected Group up one position in the order.
- Move Down - Moves the selected Group down one position in the order.
- Move to Top - Moves the selected Group to the first position in the order.
- Move to Bottom - Moves the selected Group to the last position in the order.
